Easton's First Haircut

We went to Becky's house on St. Patrick's day and we all got our hair cut. This was Easton's first haircut (besides the razor tragedy last summer). He sat so still and never cried. It was so cute!

My Silly Kids

I just think it's funny to watch Easton copy everything his older sister does.

Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam

I feel like I'm getting old because I have a child old enough to be in primary! The first Sunday in January was Mickell's first time as a Sunbeam and Easton's first time in the nursery! Wow, they grow up fast!

Christmas Time

So, I know I'm a little behind, but better late than never, right? We had a great Christmas. We spent Christmas with my Sister, Carmen in Sherman Oaks California. They had so many things planned for us. We saw a play at the Kodak theater, we ate at Lawry's restaurant in Beverly Hills, and we ate Gladstone's right on the beach in Malibu. Those are just a few highlights, we also had fun watching Christmas movies and eating, eating, and eating! The night before we left for California, Mickell had her first dance recital. They did a dance to frosty the snowman, so you can see that she is dressed as a snowman. She loves dance class and is very dramatic.

My mom had made every one of her grandkids a quilt with their name on it. My mom gave Mickell's as a christmas present. She loved it!

Kids say the funniest things!

A few weeks ago we went mini golfing for Family Home Evening. Afterwards I asked if we should get ice cream. Mickell got really excited and said, "Ya, ya, ya I want a chocolate handshake!"

Fall is Approaching!

Fall is approaching and I am getting very excited! On the first day of fall I put up all of my fall decorations and lit my pumpkin candle for the first time this year. I love this time of year when the leaves change and the weather gets cooler. I thought it would be fun to do a little painting in our house. I've always wanted to, but have never been brave enough to try it. So Steve and I decided to go for it. We had no clue what we were doing, but I think it turned out great! (the spots on the wall are reflections from other pictures, in case you were wondering.)

Easton is being Stubborn!

Easton turned 1 in July and is still not walking. He has been standing on his own for some time now, but he refuses to walk! Last night he took his first step ever! It was a complete accident and he fell down right after, but it still counts! He is a very sweet boy, and loves to play with his sister.
